Johnny and Janelle met while at Lincoln Christian University and were married in 2008. Johnny and Janelle both have a BA in Intercultural Studies from Lincoln Christian University. Johnny also has an MDiv from Lincoln Christian Seminary. Soon after they were married they began seeking where they might serve. At the end of 2009, they joined NMSI and began plans to move to Southeast Asia. There first child Will was born as they were raising support and they arrived in Asia in early 2011. In 2013 their daughter Hope was born, expanding their family to four.
Currently Janelle is a full-time mother of two teaching their son in his home-school curriculum. She also is involved in building cross-cultural relationships in the community.
Currently Johnny is working with an entrepreneurship school he helped to develop along with their teammates. The school seeks to alleviate poverty through business and job creation. Johnny's main focus is on developing sustainable ministry and church planting movements through entrepreneurship business development for self-supported national tentmakers.
